Position Details:

Qualifications:

Accredited four (4) year degree in applicable field of study, and Seven (7) years of work-experience in construction estimation.
Versed in a work related disciplines of estimating
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
Knowledgeable about EPC projects
Knowledgeable about Lump Sum and/or Cost Reimbursable estimating
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (e.g. Excel, Words, Power point)
Exemplary organizational skills
Ability to work effectively with a team, as well as independently

Responsibilities:

Develop high-level construction budgets/schedules and detailed estimates for Oil & Gas projects
Understand the tendering process for all assigned projects
Review Owner’s ITB documents to develop a comprehensive understanding of the project
Create inquiry packages, request and collect subcontractor quotes in order to analyze and find the most competitive price for the project.
Develop project-specific in-house cost breakdowns
Clarify, negotiate, and analyze subcontractor quotes, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Keep detailed records and evaluations of quotes, meeting minutes, reports, etc.
Establish and maintain excellent relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
Regular market investigation for labor, equipment and material costs
